Lobbying against clean air zone charges

As suppliers to schools and colleges nationwide we have been acutely aware of the ever increasing delivery costs, whether by our own fleet or by the use of carriers, in particular the emergence of so called clean air zones and associated costs to business have been come to the fore recently.  With the proposed introduction of the Manchester Clean air zone which represents a huge area and potentially a significant added cost of compliance to us and other businesses delivering in that area, we have been engaging through our membership of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) to lobby for a fair outcome for all concerned and been involved with numerous media organisations to highlight the situation.
